July 13th, 2020
An employee of Fremont Animal Hospital has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee is being quarantined and all staff will be tested.
We are contacting all impending appointments to give the option to reschedule.
Curbside pick up is still engaged. Those who need product but are uncomfortable with the status of our clinic may call to discuss other avenues to attain items.
Please email us for any questions or concerns.

Until further notice, we are following the procedures in our COVID letter below, including curbside service.

Update to the below letter - we will no longer be limiting medication to a 30 day supply.

March 31, 2020
Fremont Animal Hospital update of protocols due the new executive order No. 2020-32 signed on March 30th, 2020 by Governor Whitmer.

For convenience sake, we have edited our original COVID-19 communication letter to keep our active policies on one form. New policies are in bold and will go into effect March 31st, 2020 at 5 PM.

Thank you for your ongoing understanding and patience as we modify our business operations. Our goal is to remain open for our valued clients during the COVID-19 pandemic while striving to keep everyone safe.

Appointments:
- Call from your vehicle to let the staff know you are here. Provide us with the phone number you are calling from so we can call you.
- A staff member will be taking your animal inside. Please stay in your vehicle.
-
The doctor or technician will be calling you to ask questions and discuss concerns. Let us know if you want to purchase preventatives or other products and how you will be paying.
-
Credit Card payments will be processed before your pet is returned to you.
-Cash or check payments will be picked up by the assistant when your pet is returned to you.
Prescriptions including food:
- Call in advance to refill any prescription. Medication will be limited to a 30 day supply. Apoquel will be limited to 50 count tablets.
- If possible, pay with a credit card over the phone when calling in prescriptions or heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Call from your car when you are here for pick up. Please stay in your car, we will bring the purchased goods out to you.

- Take advantage of our online store: https://fremontanimalhospital.myvetstoreonline.pharmacy for any medications, preventatives, prescription foods, etc to get product shipped directly to your home.
- Another online option for Hill's prescription food is Hills to Home. To order food from here, a staff member will need to add your information into the site. This will send you a welcome email to finish registering, and then you may order food to be shipped directly to your home.
If the phone lines are busy, please feel free to email us at fremontanimalhospitalmi@gmail.com for your prescription refill requests, preventative requests, food orders, or for any questions you have that are not an emergency. Make sure to include contact information.

As this pandemic evolves, we may call to reschedule appointments including surgeries.

As we do our best to slow the spread of COVID-19 while still caring for your beloved pets, please:
- Stay home and do not schedule immediate appointments with us if any members in your household have tested positive for COVID-19.
- Call to reschedule appointments if anyone in your household, including yourself, are ill or experiencing symptoms.
- Have a healthy friend bring your pet or pick up product from FAH for you.

THANK YOU for continuing to be part of the Fremont Animal Hospital family.
